Seabob rental fleet questions
What renters ask most about the F9, F9 S, F5 and F5 S in Fethiye, Göcek and Marmaris.
Which Seabob model should I rent?
For first-timers and relaxed snorkelling the F5 or F9 are ideal; for the fastest ride and longer sessions choose the F9 S or F5 S. All four are in our Fethiye rental fleet and our guide helps you pick on the day.
How fast does a Seabob go?
The F9 reaches about 15 km/h over the surface, while the F9 S and F5 S do up to 20 km/h (around 11 knots). Underwater speeds are a little lower. Real-world speed depends on rider weight and sea conditions.
How deep can a Seabob dive?
The F9 and F9 S are depth-rated to 30 m. The F5 and F5 S ship factory-limited to 2.5 m and can be adjusted by a certified diver up to 40 m. Always dive within your own training limits.
How long does the battery last?
Expect roughly 50 minutes on the F9 and F5, and up to 60 minutes on the F9 S and F5 S. On full-day and weekly rentals we supply charged spare batteries so you're not waiting on the water.
What is the difference between the F5 and F9 series?
The F9 series is the current flagship, developed with Studio F. A. Porsche — lighter, more compact and rated to 30 m. The F5 series is the proven classic: heavier, very stable and diver-adjustable to 40 m. Both are easy to learn.
Can you deliver the Seabob to my yacht or villa?
Yes. We hand-deliver any model in the fleet — charged, serviced and briefed — to yachts, villas and beaches across Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Göcek and Marmaris.
