Who we are

Fethiye Seabob is operated from our office in Ölüdeniz, Fethiye, Muğla, Turkey (Denizpark Cd., Belcekum 2 Sitesi No:15 D:2/B, 48300 Fethiye/Muğla). What information we collect

This website has no contact or booking form, so we never capture your name, email or phone number automatically just by you browsing the site.

If you call, WhatsApp, or email us to ask a question or make a reservation, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that conversation — typically your name, phone number, the dates you want a Seabob, and your delivery location (yacht, villa, hotel or beach).

We keep a record of that conversation (your WhatsApp or email thread) for as long as needed to deliver the service, handle any after-sales issue, and meet Turkish bookkeeping and tax-record obligations (generally up to 10 years for commercial records).

Our hosting provider's server logs may record standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time — for security and troubleshooting. We don't combine this with any marketing profile, and we don't use it to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

We use one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers whether you've chosen English or Turkish. It's strictly necessary for the site to work and doesn't require your consent.

The map on our Contact and About pages only loads after you click "Load map" — until then, no connection is made to Google and no Google cookie is set.

We don't use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies, or any other tracking technology. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Third parties your information may pass through

When you contact us on WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy. Email is handled by Google (Gmail). Phone calls are handled by your mobile carrier. We don't control how those platforms process your data — please check their own privacy policies.

If you open Google Maps for directions, or load our embedded map, Google may set its own cookies and collect data under Google's privacy policy.

We don't sell, rent, or share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes.

Legal basis and your rights

We process your data based on our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and, once you book, on performing our contract with you. Bookkeeping records are kept to meet our legal obligations under Turkish law.

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, for visitors from the EU/UK, the GDPR, you have the right to: ask whether we hold data about you; request a copy of it; request correction or deletion; object to how it's used; and lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or your local data protection authority.

Data security & retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. We keep it only for as long as the purpose above requires, or as long as Turkish law requires us to retain commercial records, and delete or anonymise it afterwards.

Children

This site isn't directed at children. Seabob rentals and sales are arranged with an adult, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
